1. Thinking Day was celebrated to mark the Birth Anniversary of Lord Baden Powell, the founder of Bhartiya Scouts and Guides

2. Mr. P.N.Mishra PGT Eco I/C Scouts & Guides activities elaborated in detail about life and contribution of Baden Powell.

3. Yells & Slogans were recited by the students.

JAN 2010

1. Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm.

2. Dr. A.K.Upadhyay the Principal unfurled the tricolor which was followed by a cultural programme of songs, dances, skits etc. The celebration concluded with sweets distribution among the students.

DEC 2009

1. KVS Foundation Day was celebrated on 15.12.09.

2. Mrs. Kusum Lata and Mr. P.N.Mishra celebrated about KVS, its aims & objectives and its contribution in the field of education.

3. Cultural program was presented by the students, which comprised – songs, poems, dances etc.

1. On 5-09-09 the “Teacher’s Day” was celebrated with Zest and fervour Morning Assembly was conducted by the teachers. The Portrait  of Dr.Radha Krishna was garlanded by Hon’ble Principal Dr. A.K.Upadhyay Classes were taken by the Pupil teachers for the first half of the day.

2. Slogan Writing Competition was held on 29-08-09.
3. Principal A.K.Upadhyay joined the Vidyalaya on 20-08-09
4. Inter Housen Rangoli Competition was organized for primary and secondary section on 22-08-09
5. Independence Day was celebrated in the Vidyalaya on 15-08-09.
6. Ms. Pushpa Shokeen PGT(Eng) was transferred from KV AD Dappar to KV.Sec 31 Chandigarh
7. Ms. Kusam Lata transferred from KV Sec 31 Chandigarh to KV AD Dappar and joined the school on 04-08-09
8. Ms. Sushma Chaudhary Principal was transferred to KV Shalimar Bag New Delhi and relieved from the school KV AD Dappar on 06-08-09

4. Thinking Day was celebrated on 21st Feb. 09.in lieu of 22nd Feb. by Scouts and Guides.

JAN 2009

I. National Consumer Day was celebrated. The theme for this year’s National Consumer Day was ‘Consumer, Be Alert and Safe’. On this occasion the following activities were undertaken:

1. Speeches by the students & teachers
2. Pledge taking by the students
3. Poster making compt.

2. 2nd Pre-Board Examinations(X & XII) and IIIrd Term Unit Tests were conducted in the month of January
3. Parent-Teacher meeting (X & XII) was organized on 24th Jan 09 to  apprise the parents of the performance of their wards and to get their cooperation.
4. Mr. P. N. Mishra joined as PGT (Comm.) on 27 Jan 2009.
